Holiday Rentals Curaçao does the reservations
Your stay is booked with our “Holiday Rentals Curaçao”. Each accommodation we rent out has its own manager who in turn is responsible for: maintenance, on-site service and contact with you. If you have any questions or problems during your stay, please contact the manager of your accommodation directly. The contact details of the manager can be found in the confirmation email of the total payment, you can log into the customer portal or ask our team verhuur@holidayrentalscuracao.com
Important information about your accommodation
Check in/out
Just before your arrival, the manager will make sure that everything is ready for your stay. During the final inspection of the accommodation, the meter readings are taken (initial reading of water and electricity), so that your accommodation is completely ready for your arrival.
Holiday Rentals Curaçao defaults to the check-out time of 11:00 am, unless you have made other arrangements with us in advance. For a smooth check-out and to avoid miscommunication/confusion it is important to agree on a schedule together with the property manager.
Are you interested in a late check-out and haven’t booked it yet? Then send an e-mail to verhuur@holidayrentalscuracao.com to request a late check-out. If available, you can continue to use the property all day until you leave. (Please note that you will receive the cost for a late check-out after your request).
Water and electricity consumption:
The consumption of water and electricity on Curaçao can be quite expensive. Therefore, we advise you to be aware of this so that you will not be faced with unexpected costs.
- Power: An air conditioner consumes an average of 15 KWH each per 8 hours. Do not leave the air conditioners on unnecessarily, especially when leaving the accommodation.
- Water: Water costs on average €8.00 per m³. Keep this in mind when taking long showers and check that the taps are properly closed after use.
Meter readings are recorded on arrival and departure and shown to you at check-out. Check your reservation to see what your accommodation offers in terms of consumption and costs. Any extra consumption will be deducted from the deposit.
TIP: Check in your reservation what rules apply to water and electricity consumption in your accommodation.
TIP: Turn on your air conditioner 10 minutes before bedtime. Air conditioners cool fairly quickly. This will reduce costs since the air conditioner is not on unnecessarily.
Beach access
Upon arrival at Blue Bay, you will receive a unique digital QR code. This QR code gives you free access to the beach and can be easily scanned at both the beach entrance and the entrance to Blue Bay Golf and Beach resort. Be sure to have the code handy on your phone or bring it printed. After scanning, you can immediately enjoy the beautiful beach, beach beds, crystal clear sea and all other facilities Blue Bay has to offer for free.
Note: Without a QR code, you will not get free access to the beach.
TIP: Print out your QR code so you are not required to bring your phone if you prefer not to.

Car rental
Curaçao is known for its beautiful beaches, rich history and the colorful houses in Punda. In addition, you may also want to get groceries or go out for dinner. With your rental car you can plan your vacation completely carefree, so you can go wherever and whenever you want.

Have you already rented a car through Holiday Rentals Curaçao? Then you are provided with all the information about the procedure, delivery time, delivery location and rules. Please note that the car must be returned fully refueled. If the rental car is returned without full tank, Holiday Rentals Curaçao will deduct a part of the deposit. You can expect your deposit to be returned up to seven (7) days after check-out.

TIP: Holiday Rentals Curaçao works closely with Perfect Choice Taxi Service (Angelique). She offers the best prices and is transparent. You book and pay without extra costs afterwards.

Deposit settlement
After check-out, you can expect your security deposit for both accommodation and rental car to be returned within seven (7) days. Any additional consumption of water and electricity will be deducted from your deposit (for more information see Electricity and water). Please refer to your reservation to check the deposit and consumption of your accommodation.

Three days after check-out, you will receive an email from Holiday Rentals Curaçao asking you to describe your experience and stay. This gives us insight into how our guests experienced Curaçao, the vacation rental and Blue Bay. We would greatly appreciate it if you would leave a review about your experience, so we can adjust and improve our service if necessary. Restaurants on the Blue Bay Golf and Beach Resort
Restaurant Coast
Coast restaurant has the perfect location, located on the beach overlooking the sea where you can admire beautiful sunsets. Enjoy a delicious Caribbean salad, a fresh piece of tuna, a tender piece of meat or a summer pasta. While enjoying a delicious wine and good company an evening to remember.
Coast Restaurant is open daily from 8:00-22:00 a.m. for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Blend Beach Bar
This it the Caribbean! Enjoy a delicious cocktail, a refreshing beer or a smoothie with a tropical touch. Of course you can also order delicious bites, our favorite being ‘The Dutch cheese balls’.
The Blend Beach bar at the Blue Bay Golf and Beach resort is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. In addition to drinks and snacks, you can also visit the Blend Beach Bar for a delicious breakfast, salad, sandwiches and more….
Restaurant Lemongrass
The Lemongrass Restaurant is found in the century-old Blaauw manor house. This is also the clubhouse for the golfers and is also called the 19th hole. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the golf course and can admire the flamingos. Golfers start here while enjoying a strong cup of espresso or a refreshing smoothie. At noon you can enjoy a delicious lunch and in the evening dinner which is focused on shared dining.
Lemongrass is open daily from 7:00-22:00 a.m. for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Brass Boer is open
Brass Boer Curacao is a new beach restaurant (October 2022) on Blue Bay’s bounty beach. Here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, the beach and extraordinary sunsets.
Enjoy local Caribbean dishes as well as old-fashioned specialties from Chef Andrea Péter. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30 to 10:00 pm. Besides enjoying a delicious dinner, you also have delicious snacks and lunch dishes at Brass Boer at the Pier. Every day from 10:00 you can come here for a refreshing drink and from 12:00 the kitchen is open.

The beach at Blue Bay
Blue Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches on Curacao. Most characteristic are the many palm trees which provide plenty of shade. In combination with the white sandy beach and the aqua blue Caribbean Sea makes Blue Bay beach a true paradise on earth. If you stay via Holiday Rentals Curacao in an accommodation at the Blue Bay Golf and Beach resort you will receive free access to the beach and sunbeds. There are toilets and showers available. So ideal to enjoy a drink/snack at the Coast restaurant or the Blend Beach Bar after a day at the beach.
Golfing at Blue Bay
The golf course has a beautiful location with natural elevation changes and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, this is truly unique. To play golf at Blue Bay is to enjoy your favorite game and the environment at its best. That is why professional players regularly visit the resort.
